Complete With a Request For a Parent-Teacher Conference

E = Excellent (Why is your kid here?)
G = Good (We get it, you’re an involved parent)
S = Satisfactory (Congratulations, you have an average kid)
N = Needs Improvement (You’re blaming us, aren’t you?)
Responsibility - N
Brain is a very hard worker but has difficulty staying on task. She becomes distracted quite quickly, demonstrating poor concentration. This causes her to struggle with completing her assigned tasks on time. She often needs to be reminded of how critical specific tasks are (such as retaining vocabulary words, constructing sentences, or maintaining a consistent heartbeat). While she gets along well with the other systems, she tends to become quite disruptive during group activities. This results in Bodily chaos that can take hours to repair.
Her enthusiasm for her work is appreciated but needs to be channeled into a more complete understanding.
Strongly recommend additional work at home.
Organization - S
Body tackles all tasks and group assignments in a concise and organized manner. All parts of the system utilize their time wisely. For the most part, everyone works at an appropriate pace, with no one moving too quickly or too slowly. (There are occasional exceptions to this rule, such as when Heart gets overly excited) They all conduct a reasonable assessment of timing for all long-term projects. Everyone can stay on task with relatively little supervision. Body is conscientious and hard-working.
There are times when Body needs to listen to all directions before proceeding with an activity. This will allow the individual systems to work more independently. When attempting to utilize the same materials, the systems may not always behave respectfully toward one another. (Squabbles over energy are the most frequent) This can result in altercations that are less than appropriate.
Lessons stressing patience are recommended.
Independent Work - S
Nerves are hard-working and very self-motivated. They eagerly begin their work without prompting and readily grasp new concepts and ideas with little instruction. All of the systems admire their level of self-discipline, and their level of competence is something to applaud (for the most part; they do occasionally take their work to extremes). Their free time is spent in constructive action, with impressive projects resulting.
Unfortunately, Nerves tend to give up quickly if something becomes difficult. They then require extensive encouragement to complete the assigned task. The haste to complete an assignment means they’re also not careful about checking their work. This often results in simple errors, causing problems for the remainder of the systems.
Recommend a review about taking one’s time.
Collaboration - N
Body lacks compassion. The systems spend their free time engaged in solitary activities. Rarely do they engage in conversations with one another. When disagreements arise, they are seldom handled appropriately. It’s common for blatant arguments to break out. This results in a slow-down of work and a taking of sides. Body needs to demonstrate more respect and courtesy. While the systems work well alone, they need to spend more time learning to work cooperatively.
A lengthy session on interactive work is strongly recommended.
Initiative - G
Brain is keen to pursue a multitude of interests. She demonstrates an exceptional understanding and depth of knowledge. She also comprehends how each system within Body is intended to work. She eagerly discusses every new concept she’s read or learned. (There’s a distinct flair for the dramatic in these readings) She independently seeks out further information on topics that pique her interest. And she is not reticent about sharing that knowledge with everyone else. However, it would help if she waited for them to confirm their interest first.
Brain could use a gentle reminder that not everyone in the Body has the same stamina and excitement as she does.
Self-Regulation - N
Body fails to cooperate consistently within the systems. There is poor transition from one activity to the next, particularly between one season and the next, when switching between day and night, or when the stars have aligned overhead. Systems often respond with tantrums or sulking when correction is required for an error or injury. Childish behavior may result if one system or another feels slighted or ignored. If responsibility for a malfunction is required, Body is the first to bow out of the picture; they are never at fault for anything. It is not uncommon for Body to portray a negative outlook on the day. This attitude will frequently spread throughout the system and even begin to affect others, such as Brain.
Strongly recommend enrolling Body with Brain’s therapist.
