Invisible Inks Just Turned THREE!
And Moved to a New Home!

Yes, I am back!
Well, sort of.
I knew I needed to mark the Third Anniversary of my beloved Invisible Inks existing in the world. (Because why would I not want to cheer about that?)
However—as you may have noticed—this newsletter has a brand-new home - on Beehiiv!
Why did I make the move?
I could claim it was something about having a Host that does more to promote accounts, but that wasn’t high on my priorities list. Or I could say I wanted more control over the formatting of my posts. Except that was only a minor irritation over on Substack.
No, the truth is: I wanted to get away from a hosting platform that allows unrestricted posting by fascists, regardless of the messages they’re sharing. (Read between the lines for the word I’d actually like to use but don’t want anywhere near my little essay site)
That said, while the import of posts and subscribers went off without a hitch, Beehiiv doesn’t preserve some of the formatting of the old posts. As such, I’m in the process of editing every last one.
And there are A LOT!
Plus, I’m trying to get the portfolio on my author site swapped over to a new plugin while also adding all of my non-saleable artwork into the Gallery. And none of those tasks can take up more than an hour of my time. (If I want to do new writing and drawing, at any rate)
Until I get completely caught up, I’m not going to post anything new.
But I wanted to drop in with a quick celebration (Yay!) and notice for all of you.
I cannot tell you how much it means to mean that (some of) you stuck around for THREE WHOLE YEARS of my essays on invisible illness. You are wonderful, and I cannot thank you enough for your support.
Now, back to the grind!
